What is JIN:Practice Pixel Kung Fu?
JIN:Practice Pixel Kung Fu is a daily check-in app for practicing Eight Pieces of Brocade (八段锦), a traditional Chinese health exercise. The app features pixel-art style characters, progress tracking, and professional audio guidance.
What iOS versions are supported?
DailyJin requires iOS 15.6 or later. It's compatible with iPhone and iPad devices.
Is the app available in different languages?
Yes! JIN:Practice Pixel Kung Fu supports English, Simplified Chinese (简体中文), and Traditional Chinese (繁體中文). You can switch languages in the app settings.

Can I check in multiple times per day?
Yes! DailyJin supports multiple check-ins per day. Your daily count and streak will be tracked accurately.
How does the consecutive days counter work?
The app counts consecutive days with at least one check-in. If you miss a day, your streak resets but your total check-in count is preserved.
What is the Practice Tree?
The Practice Tree grows based on your total check-ins. It has 5 stages: Seed → Sprout → Sapling → Tree → Ancient Tree. You can water it once daily to help it grow!

What does JIN Kungfu Pro include?
Pro features include:
- Professional audio guidance for all 8 movements
- Animation speed control (0.2x to 2.0x)
- Custom loop practice settings
- Support the developer for continuous updates
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Go to Settings → Get Pro → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
(。◕‿◕。) Troubleshooting
The app won't load or crashes
Try these steps:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Update to the latest version from the App Store
- If the problem persists, contact support
Audio doesn't play during animations
Check that:
- Your device volume is turned up
- Silent mode is disabled
- You have the Pro version (audio guidance is a Pro feature)
Notifications aren't working
Ensure notification permissions are enabled:
- Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → DailyJin
- Enable "Allow Notifications"
- Set your preferred notification style
- In the app, go to Settings and configure your reminder time
My data/progress disappeared
Your check-in data is stored locally on your device. If you've recently updated iOS or restored your device, some data might be affected. Unfortunately, we cannot recover lost local data, but future check-ins will be tracked normally.

How do I change characters?
Simply tap on the character image on the main screen. The app will cycle through all 8 available pixel-art characters.
How do I share my practice record?
Go to the Check-in Manager (calendar icon) and tap the share button. This will copy a formatted message about your practice to your clipboard.
Can I clear today's check-ins?
Yes, in the Check-in Manager, tap "Clear Today's Check-ins". This will remove all check-ins for the current day (with a confirmation dialog).
